Throughout the year, we have numerous fundraising opportunities for which we rely upon volunteer support to ensure their success. These can include bucket and street collections, event support at organised sporting events, information stands at fetes and exhibitions, and representing ELF at presentations and talks.
On this page, we list all volunteer opportunities for which we need support. If you can donate a couple of hours of your time to volunteer at an event, then we'd love to hear from you! Please contact our fundraising team to register your interest. Please contact Development Manager Andy Jordan via andy@elfcharity.org.uk or 01392 714028.
Volunteers needed:

Collection Box Coordinator (CBC)
Honiton & Ottery St. Mary / Sidmouth
We are seeking two volunteers to join our team of regular CBCs. The roles involve managing the collection boxes in two existing established areas: one in Sidmouth, and one in Hontion & Ottery St. Mary.
CBCs visit their sites twice per year, in April and October. They count and bank the funds, and act as a point of contact between the businesses supporting ELF with a collection box and the charity. Full training and kit is provided.

Exeter Chiefs Bucket Collection - Sun 19th October 1pm - 5.30pm (approx)
Join us at our annual bucket collection at Sandy Park. This year's game is Exeter Chiefs vs Harlequins, so it's set to be a good one! We require 40 volunteers to assist with a collection before and after the game, plus during half time. In return, you'll receive a free standing ticket to watch the match.
Volunteers have to be aged 18 and kick off is at 3pm. Sandy Park is always a fantastic afternoon out, whether you're a rugby fan or simply want to come along and enjoy the atmosphere!
