Yarty ward team support the ELF Cream Tea

The amazing nursing team at the Haematology Centre are supporting this year's ELF Cream Tea.

The team will be hosting a cream tea and cake sale for their fellow colleagues in July. There are many skilled bakers amongst them, so they should be spoilt by a choice of treats!

Following their fantastic efforts with the Virtual Everest challenge earlier in the year (which raised £3,800 for ELF), Yarty ward are looking forward to a slightly more indulgent fundraiser on this occasion. We are delighted to receive their support once more and wish them a very enjoyable event.

Lead Haematology Nurse Specialist Clare said 'An ELF Cream Tea is a great way to bring all the team together for ELF. We're looking forward to some delicious cakes and probably a bit of healthy competition between colleagues as to who will make the best scones! It is a simple way to raise money in support of the patients we look after daily on the ward.'
