Trustee Vacancy - Finance

Our trustees play a vital role in making sure that Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure that ELF has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. Just as importantly, they support and challenge the executive team to enable ELF to grow and thrive, and through this, support blood cancer patients, and their families, in Devon.

Board members have a collective responsibility. This means that trustees always act as a group and not as individuals. However, we seek to ensure our Board effectively governs the Charity by including individuals with a broad range of experience and expertise. We are seeking a finance professional who can bring expertise to our Board and help shape ELF’s financial strategy and decision making.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for an individual with significant experience working in finance or a related sector to bring support and challenge to our financial planning and procedures.

We are looking for people willing to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board.

You do not need previous governance experience – we will provide a full induction and training.
