Twelve brave supporters tackle a 15,000ft skydive in aid of ELF

The sun was shining for our skydivers as they took on this epic fundraising challenge. This year's group consisted of a Yarty ward nurse, relatives and friends of current and former blood cancer patients treated on the ward, the husband of one of our trustees and two members of the ELF staff team. Each had their own personal reason for wanting to take part and it was wonderful to see the team supporting each other throughout the day.

The ELF Group Skydive is always a family affair, and this year was no exception! We were joined by dozens of family, friends and colleagues enjoying the atmosphere and wishing to cheer on their loved ones and offer words of encouragement.

Our amazing twelve successfully completed their 15,000ft skydives with 60 seconds freefall. Collectively, the group has raised over £14,000 in sponsorship for their efforts, a truly phenomenal achievement. Our sincere thanks to Adam, Ali, David, Edie, Eddie, Grem, Jason, Jessie, John, Marion, Paul and Sue for taking part. From their comments afterwards, we think that they enjoyed themselves!
