Enter the 2025 Great West Run

The Great West Run celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025 and we have a limited number of free places for ELF supporters to take part

The Great West Run has been an Exeter institution since 1985 and we are excited to be a part of this event next year. Please join us and be a part of Team ELF!

The Great West Run starts and ends at Exeter Arena. The half marathon route passes through the heart of the city, incorporating the High Street, Exeter University and Cowley. This event is always well supported, with a large crowd turning out to cheer competitors on. As a charity partner, we will have an ELF base at the Arena to check you in at the start and to cheer you over the finish line at the end!

We have a limited number of free places for ELF supporters (full price £45). Please run in support of patients and families affected by blood cancer within our community. We have a minimum fundraising target of just £150 per place.

Your support will enable ELF to support blood cancer patients like Sophia, who was diagnosed with leukaemia at just 18 months old: 

“I don’t drive, so used ELF's transport services,” said Serann, Sophia's mum. “They’ve helped us out financially and we have had two grants from ELF, who also bought the children Christmas presents. I have used ELF’s counselling service which was so helpful. I talked about how Sophia’s diagnosis was affecting me personally. I had questions going through my mind and they help me try and process it all. We are so grateful for that support.”
