Exeter Chiefs bucket collection

We are delighted to confirm that ELF has once again been selected to receive a donation from the Exeter Chiefs Foundation this season. As such, we are granted one home game at Sandy Park to hold a bucket collection, and this year's game was a beauty!

On Saturday 13th January, ELF supplied a team of volunteers to manage the collection at the Exeter Chiefs vs Glasgow Warriors match in the Heineken Cup. It was a great game, with Chiefs clinching the victory in the final minute of the game to keep everyone on their toes. Plus, ELF's Chief Executive Officer Molly and Trustee Clare got to meet rugby legend and fundraising hero Kevin Sinfield CBE, whose work raising money and awareness for MND is truly inspirational.

A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers for their enthusiasm and for representing ELF so brilliantly on what was a very chilly afternoon. The donations we collected (including the £1 donations per cup which resulted in some very impressive cup towers at the end of the afternoon) will be added to the Foundation's total, which will then be divided between all the benefitting charities at the end of the season.

Would you like to join our volunteer team? We have a range of events throughout the year for which we need volunteer support to utilise all the fundraising opportunities that are open to us. These include bucket collections at sporting events, shows and concerts, event support at races including Exeter Marathon and the 10k River Run, plus representing ELF at presentations and community fetes and shows.
