To provide emotional and practical support for patients, ELF has a unique service called ELF@Home which matches patients with trained volunteers, based not just on location but on your outlook and shared interests. Our volunteers can help with practical around-the-house jobs, including cleaning and shopping as well as offering advice or just listening if patients have worries they want to talk through or stories to share.

If you are feeling lonely, isolated and would like some company, perhaps chatting over a cup of tea or a phone call to say hello, ELF@Home can help you.

Or, if you are a caring individual with a few hours a week available we would love to hear from you. ELF volunteers are provided with full training for this rewarding and fulfilling role.

To find out more about ELF@Home, either to give your time as a volunteer, or if you would like one of our trained volunteers to help you around your home or be on the end of the phone, please contact Sue Rose, our ELF@Home Project Manager, either by telephoning 07841 027228 or by emailing sue@elftcharity.org.uk.
