M&S celebrates raising £8,980 for Elf
The Exeter branch of M&S raised £8,980 for Elf as their charity of the year 2017. The money has been used to support more patients affected by blood cancers and blood disorders in Devon.
Fundraising activities included a danceathon, swimathon, bring and buy sale and carol singing, and the collection tins were out in the store throughout the year. Staff also supported Elf through volunteering at the Cream Tea Event and organising collections for the Elf charity shops.
Elf's Alison Upton says: “We were thrilled to have had the support of the M&S team who really embraced the fundraising challenge and got involved. They were such an enthusiastic and professional team to work with and it was a lot of fun.”
Charlotte Boyce from M&S commented: “It was great fundraising in partnership with Elf. Staff were engaged and enthusiastic, all coming up with ideas and getting involved. We were really pleased to have been able to help such a worthwhile charity.”
