Housebuilders enjoying a cream tea for Elf!
Redrow, the multi-award-winning housebuilder, was one of many companies who took part in the Elf Cream Tea in June.
Why not join them and other organisations next year as they celebrate summer with a scone and a cuppa? You could hold an event in your home, in the community or at your place of work. You simply need to register for your FREE event pack at www.elfcharity.org.uk/creamtea and then get baking (or shopping!). Events can take place any time in June and all money raised will help patients and families across Devon affected by blood cancer.
Redrow West Country staff held a cream tea in their Pynes Hill office and invited clients and staff to cream teas at their sites in Bishops Court and Saxon Brook, Exeter.
Andrew Addison, Sales Director at Redrow (West Country), said: “The whole team were proud to support the amazing work that Elf does. Our Head Office and developments in Exeter were delighted to get behind Cream Tea month and to help raise awareness and funds for the valuable services Elf provides. We're not sure we could the question of which goes on first the jam or the cream – but we certainly enjoyed doing our bit and tried lots of scones!”
Elf's Alison Upton says: “We are delighted that Redrow and so many other companies hold cream teas for Elf. It is so easy for people to take part and a great excuse for people to get together and enjoy themselves while raising money. Six hundred people a week are treated for blood cancers and blood disorders at the RD&E and all money raised through the Elf Cream Tea supports these patients and their families.”
