ELF@Home Befriending Support

Reducing isolation and loneliness in the community - make a difference and volunteer for ELF@Home!

ELF is looking for caring individuals who can offer 2-3 hours per week of befriending support to people affected by Leukaemia or another blood borne illness, who live in Devon. ELF@Home volunteers support patients and their families, in the patient’s home, to offer friendship and practical help after diagnosis or treatment.

If you welcome the opportunity of meeting new people, have time and enthusiasm, good communication skills including an ability to listen, and a warm and open personality we would love to hear from you.

We offer full training and induction and on-going support from the project manager, other volunteers and the wider ELF team.

This role requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.
