Elf@Home befriending support

Reducing isolation and loneliness in the community – make a difference by volunteering for Elf@Home!

We are looking for caring individuals who can offer two to three hours a week of befriending support to Devon residents affected by a blood cancer or disorder. Elf@Home volunteers support patients and their families in the patient’s own home, offering friendship and practical help after diagnosis or treatment.

If you would like to meet new people, have good communication skills, including an ability to listen, and a warm and open personality, we would love to hear from you. We offer full training and induction and ongoing support from our project manager, other volunteers and the wider Elf team. This role requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.

If you think you can help, or would like more information about Elf@Home, please call us on 07841 027228 or email sue@elfcharity.org.uk

We look forward to hearing from you!
